About Grace Sands
I love to participate in sports including beach volleyball, bowling, and indoor volleyball. I am a Posse Semi-Finalist and recipient of the University of Pennsylvania Book Award. I love to spend time with my family and friends and have an immense appreciation for the outdoors. I am also a member of many clubs including the Bowling Club, Journalism Club, International Film Club, Spanish Club, and Cooking Club.

This year, I transitioned my focus from environmental issues to a more social issue. After noticing that a lot of educational resources were not being used, I decided to work with the school librarian to donate books to local organizations, and I am working to create a mobile book service that gives away free books and encourages reading.
Best Cushman Memory
My favorite Cushman memory is going to Universal Studios in 8th grade. I had never been before and I loved going on all of the rides with my friends.
