About Stefan Genovese

I have been at Cushman for six years and I have always worked hard in order to be successful. I enjoy being an active contributor in our school community and love attending school events, especially when there is dancing involved. Although I was not officially on the golf team, I enjoyed practicing and playing a great deal.

SAM Project

My SAM project is to help free road and highway congestion in the city. The idea is to start by freeing up space for other vehicles by having the SGA provide incentives for people to car pool with each other to school. The idea will hopefully serve as a foundation for a larger project in the future that focuses on reducing traffic on a grand scale.

Best Cushman Memory

My best memory at Cushman was the 8th grade trip to Costa Rica with all of my friends, which was also my first experience leaving the country.

“Back in middle school, I had a rowdy group of boys in my English class. One day I decided to assign seating. The boys were walking up to the second floor and I was directing where each student should sit. Stefan had not quite made it up the stairs when I pointed/shouted to him where to sit. Stefan responded immediately by saying ‘I’m sorry Mrs. Poulos, I can’t hear where you were pointing’… Mic drop.”
